WHAT ARE CLIENTS SAYING ABOUT SPIRITUAL DIRECTION?

I've met with Rebekah for Seven years, and she's directed me to God's presence to get free from perfectionism, uncover anger I didn't know was present, address childhood trauma, and prepare for a significant job transition. Looking back, I can pinpoint the areas of most growth in my life connected to conversations I've had with Rebekah. Spiritual direction is a journey of healing for yourself that impacts generations to come. Rebekah is a caring and committed soul friend on the journey.

For over a decade, working with Rebekah in a group setting for spiritual direction has significantly influenced me personally and in my marriage and parenting. I've shared with countless people that I'd be a hot mess if it weren't for her direction and support. More recently, she walked alongside me during a job transition. Her ability to listen well and empathize while inviting me to a higher calling has helped me grow.  She is a living example of someone who has walked life with God, stayed near him through all the challenging circumstances, and has joy and peace because of it. This gives me hope that I can find the same thing. As I pour out my heart to her, she has been a safe person who gently guides me towards Jesus and health, never condemning me.  Rebekah has walked me through some of the most complex challenges in my life, from marriage to kids to family members with substance abuse to just plain old family/friend relationships. She has listened, prayed, and encouraged me through it all. A strength of hers is asking questions that get to the core of what is going on and cause you to reflect. What Rebekah does matters. The Spirit moves through her, and I’m one of many who are better because of it.  She kept pointing me to Jesus - not in theory, but in real, tangible, hope-filled ways. She reminded me that grace is real and that I could return to His love again and again. I enter into a session an absolute emotional mess sometimes and there is no judgement, shame, or condemnation from Rebekah. She listens with love. Her listening feels loving. I sense the love of the Father after our sessions. I feel put back together again after 1hr of being with God in her presence. I needed a safe place to just be undone, since my profeccional life feels like I'm putting on a mask at times. With God I can take off my mask and be real, be who he created me to be. ~ Mark H
